The Leesburg Concrete Difference: Family-Owned Since 1983
The Leesburg Concrete Difference: Family-Owned Since 1983
By Kirk Rouse, Owner
Every company has a story. Ours starts in 1983, when my family took on a small block business and began shaping it into something more.
No one would have guessed it would turn into the operation we run today. Precast buildings, bridge pieces, architectural cladding, railings, ramps, commercial stair systems, even custom one-offs.
But here is the part we care about most… we never stopped treating it like a family business. That makes us big enough to handle any project, but small enough to care.
Not Just Concrete Producers
Anyone can pour concrete. Anyone can build a form and send it out the door.
That is not us.
We are problem solvers first. A school district calls needing durable restrooms that last decades. An architect brings a detail that has to match the rest of a building. A contractor is up against a deadline with no room for mistakes.
We listen. We build. We deliver.

Custom Precast at the Core
Most competitors buy prefabricated molds. We build our own.
That single choice changes everything. It means if you bring us something unusual, we can actually make it. A crown molding around a window. A soldier block detail along a wall. A texture that looks like wood or stone.
The options go on:
- Integral color that stands up to Florida sun
- Sandblasted finishes that bring out depth
- Form liners that mimic block, board, or stone
Custom is not a sideline here. It is the heartbeat of the business.
If you want to see what that looks like in practice, take a look at our recent role in the Jupiter U.S. 1 Bridge project. Thousands of people now drive, bike, and walk across that bridge every day, and the custom architectural precast panels wrapping it came from right here at Leesburg Concrete. The geometry was complex, the tolerances were tight, and the work had to hold up in a coastal environment. That is exactly the kind of challenge custom precast is built for.

Versatility and Trust
One week it is ADA ramps and metal railings. The next week it is modular classrooms for schools. After that, architectural cladding to match a historic facade.
Different projects. Same commitment.
We keep it all in-house, which means clients can count on:
- Engineering handled under one roof
- Drawings and submittals delivered with precision
- PCI certification that meets industry standards
- Quality control from start to finish
The details that give clients confidence. The details that make inspectors nod.
Why It Lasts
The secret is not just the concrete. It is the people.
Our team owns what they do. Every piece of it. From the first sketch to the last install.
That is the Leesburg Concrete difference. Family-owned. Problem solvers. Big enough to take on the hardest jobs. Small enough to take them personally.
Let’s Talk
If you operate in the Southeast U.S. and have a project on your desk right now, we would love to hear about it. Bring us the challenge. Big or small. Standard or custom. Let’s talk about what you need and figure out the best way to build it.
