CastRooms™ - Precast Concrete Fast Track Classrooms

Pre-Engineered, Precast Concrete Modular Classroom Buildings:  The Cost-Effective Answer to School Overcrowding

For temporary or forecasted long-term school overcrowding issues, precast concrete modular classrooms and school buildings provide the perfect fast track construction solution. Our modular classrooms come in a number of pre-engineered designs, including single classrooms, duplexes, triplexes, and multi-plexes. We can also create custom classroom designs tailored to your unique situation.

Permanent or Temporary Modular Classrooms

Precast concrete modular classrooms can be installed as either a Type IIB Modular or as a permanent building. The difference between the two is how they are installed. When installed as a Type IIB modular, we deliver and assemble the structure on your prepared stone foundation. Permanent classrooms are installed on traditional footers. The roof and floors of the buildings are post-tensioned with steel cables.

Your Choice of Architectural Finishes

One of the great things about our precast concrete modular classrooms is that you have your choice of architectural finishes. We can match the exterior of your existing campus buildings or you can choose from brick, block, sandblast, stucco and more.

Building Code & SREF Compliant

At Leesburg Concrete, we partner with you to ensure compliance with all necessary building codes and regulations, no matter your location in the Southeast. Our classrooms and facilities are meticulously engineered to meet, and often exceed, regional building codes and educational facility requirements. This commitment extends beyond Florida to states like Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, and Georgia, among others. We ensure that our modular precast concrete buildings, including essential features like doors, windows, and railings, adhere to the specific codes of each state. We tailor our solutions to meet your regulatory needs while accommodating any specific requests for your project.

Precast Concrete Modular Classrooms Provide Safe Shelter in Hurricanes

All of our precast concrete modular classrooms are engineered and built to withstand hurricane force winds up to 200 miles per hour. They are waterproof and because they are made of 5000 psi cement with welded connections, they are extremely durable. Further, students and staff don’t need to evacuate during a weather event like they do in other types of modular classrooms. You will feel confident knowing the students and staff are safe.

Fast Track Installation of School Buildings and Up to 40% Cost Savings Over Site-Built Construction

Our precast concrete modular classrooms are pre-engineered meaning we’ve done the footwork for you, so you don’t have to hire additional professionals. Because of this, we are able to Fast Track the installation installing in as little as 12-16 weeks*. This is less time than other types of modular classrooms and site-built, ground-up construction. Additionally, because our prefab classroom buildings are built at our plant, time and weather delays are avoided. Ultimately, this means a savings of both time and money for your school district.

Leesburg Concrete is a great company to work with!  They provided excellent customer service for our needs. The owner and his staff were very professional and they have a great installation crew, deliveries were on time, their engineering team did an excellent job and everyone was very knowledgeable and courteous.  We will be using Leesburg Concrete Company again.
